Supporting Scripture:

Purpose:

This ministry exists to maintain and update the computers and related devices in the church offices and the audio-visual system which we use during worship. This technology enhances our worship, assists our staff, and allows us to enjoy daily communication with each other. This deacon works closely with the audio-visual deacon, our song leaders, and our ministers.

Responsibilities:

• Each Sunday, process/edit the sermon so it is ready for the AV team to reproduce it. Notify the AV team when the sermon is ready for duplication.
• Respond to the technological needs of the church staff.
• Keep the office computers and printers in good working order.
• Update computer systems as needed.

Note:

The Pitman Church of Christ has been an absolute blessing to me and my family. Since placing membership here in August of 2004, God has opened many doors for me to serve. The Information Technology ministry in particular has been an awesome opportunity for me to serve and be an active and contributing part of the body.
